Lil Wayne Arrested -- Again!

TMZ has learned that rapper Lil Wayne has been popped by cops for drugs ... again!

Law enforcement officials tell us Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., was arrested near Yuma, Arizona last night on three felony counts: possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cops tell TMZ that the Drug Enforcement Agency was involved in the arrest -- which means it's a big deal! We're told Lil Wayne's tour bus went through a US Border Patrol checkpoint when the narcotics were allegedly found, that's when the DEA was called in.

Wayne is currently in the custody of the Yuma County Sheriff's Department, where he'll be held pending his arraignment at 9:00 AM PT.

Wayne was arrested in Idaho last year for felony possession of drugs.

66. #13 and #31, Teardrop tattoos do not only mean that the person rocking them have killed someone. My ex-husband has a teardrop in memory of his grandmother who passed away. Please get the facts before you post ignorant statements on the internet. 72. Bunch of morons. A teardrop tattoo mean one thing...he has a teardrop tattoo. What, do you think the convict that put that on there asked to see the body before he'd put it on?

As for the rest of you that think he's innocent, get a clue. It was a tour bus, going through a check point operated by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement). They have narcotics dogs. The dogs hit, which gives the agents PC to conduct a search. If it was a small amount, they would have written him a ticket and sent him on his way, or called the local authorities to deal with it. They called DEA, who have better things to do than deal with nickel-dime street dope. Plus, he's got priors so you've probably bought your last Lil Wayne CD. Damn.

73. My buddy used to live in the same apartment building as one of Lil Wayne's friends in New Orleans. Wayne's tour bus was always parked out front and they would be smoking pot all night. He is a pothead!!!!

75. well if i were a betting man, i would have to say that it wouldn't be a very smart choice to rap about doing drugs on your bus and saying "what happens on my bus stays on my bus"...this arrest is the result of Lil Wayne making his tour bus activities public!
